Every entry, grouped by winter
Log entries
The log is kept by season rather than by calendar year, because a winter on the ice starts in November and, in a good year, runs into March. Months with an entry are marked on each strip. Winters with no safe ice at all still get a page in the notebook, even when there is nothing here to show for them.
